When CTR was founded twenty-four years ago, the
vestry discerned that the Lord wanted us to give at least ten percent of all un designated
funds to the growth of God's Kingdom beyond our walls. Thus was born
the Outreach Committee (now called the Outreach Team).
In 2004 the Lord led us to begin serving the
Hispanic community of Montgomery by offering free health screenings,
interpreting and translation services, and bilingual Scripture
readings during worship services.
With support from the Diocese of Alabama, the
ministry is growing, with a small dedicated group of Hispanic
parishioners.
The church offers medical and legal references as
well as free interpreting and translation assistance for
Spanish-speaking members of the community.
